Statement of Faith

We believe in one true and living God, the Creator of all things, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of the universe. We believe God is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable. He has eternally existed in three persons-the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1)We believe that “all scripture is given by the inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe that holy men of God “were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21) to write the scriptures under the supernatural guidance of God. It is the infallible word of God that is truth without any mixture of error.We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It is freely given to us without merit. For all who place their faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ at Calvary are immediately forgiven of their sins and born into the family of God. (John 1:2; Romans 10:9-10; Ephesians 1:7)We believe in the resurrection of the dead, eternal peace with God for those that are saved and eternal punishment and hell for those that are lost. We believe heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.We believe in water baptism as an outward expression of love and obedience stemming from an inner change in the life of the believer. We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking with other tongues (Acts 2:4), the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit which is readily available to all believers. We believe and seek the fulfillment of Christ’s Great Commission. We are available instruments to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as the Holy Spirit ministers’ redemption and reconciliation to the world.We believe in divine healing and restoration, through faith in the name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is a part of the redemptive work of Christ.
